Happy Thanksgiving

Today we celebrated an early Thanksgiving with 2 other classrooms. We learned about what it was like being pilgrims and indians. We had a feast and enjoyed being together.

Red Ribbon Balloon Release

Ms. Ford does the countdown!

And we let go!!!

they go up.....

up higher......until....

we can't see them anymore!

Today was the annual Red Ribbon Balloon Release here at Fairlane. The students always love watching the balloons go up in the sky! One student asked me today if there is enough room in the clouds to hold all of those balloons! Gotta love kids.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Today we had our first class field trip to Amazing Acres.

It's a pumpkin farm located in Sparta, TN.

Here you see the pigs racing for first place.Petting the pigs before race time.

Milking the cow was fun too.

Here we are with Mrs. Nikki's class picking our pumpkins.

We were glad some moms came to help us on our field trip.

Riding on the hay wagon was really fun!

Here we are in the corn box, it's like a sand box full of corn.

Petting the rabbits, they were huge!

The farmer's wife gave us chow to feed the animals.

Milking the baby calves was more work than we expected. They didn't want to let go!

We went through a maze, we had to solve the riddles to find our way out.

"This is scary," were some things Mrs. Dickens heard during the maze.

The cow wagon train. Words can't even say how much FUN this was!!

We really missed our classmates who were sick and couldn't be with us.
